High temperature stationary
seals Y14, Y44

PDF data sheet

Features

  • Stationary bellows seal
  • Balanced
  • Uniform seal face loading
  • Independent of direction of rotation
  • Self-cleaning bellows design

Advantages

  • Ideal seal for low as well as high temperature applications
  • Ideal seal for high speed application
  • Can take more shaft misalignment and
    run-out than rotary seals
  • Seal is free from shaft vibration effect

Operating range

Shaft diameter: d = 25 … 100 mm (1" ... 3.94")
Pressure:
p = vacuum to 25 bar (362 PSI) (single ply)
p = vacuum to 50 bar (1,000 PSI) (double ply)
Temperature: t = -240 °C ... +425 °C (-400 °F ... +797 °F)
Sliding velocity: vg = 50 m/s (164 ft/s)
Axial movement: ±0.8 mm

(Consult EB for applications outside above limits).
