Company profile
Since 1978, EagleBurgmann develops, manufactures, commercializes and offers technical assistance in wet and dry gas mechanical seals, magnetic couplings, sealing plans for pumps, compressors, and other equipment with shaft rotation in Brazil.
Our performance is based on high quality products-, with certifications-, solutions in several applications-, proximity to our customers and high quality services. With large experience and knowledge, we develop solutions for our customers in order to increase product lifetime, minimizing operational costs and proportioning greater reliability.
We perform all field support and repairs at EagleBurgmann Service Centers, where qualified technicians take care of all aspects regarding the maintenance of the sealing system: installation, startup, conversion, revision and repair. Our services are guided to serve every customer’s needs.
For special projects, our headquarter has two technologic centers: one for static and dynamics tests, directed to dry gas seals and the other for dynamic tests related to wet seals.
Proximity to customers is provided through our service centers and sales branches, located all over Brazil, as well as the subsidiaries in Argentina and Chile, which serve customers in Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay and Paraguay.
For global project, EagleBurgmann offers an International Project team, with professionals in every subsidiary, basically formed by experts, EPC’s key accounts, OEM and end users.
Since August 2022, the company is housed in a sustainable, modern, integrated energy-efficient plant located in Valinhos, a municipality in the state of São Paulo in the south-east of Brasil. With a a floor area of 3,500 square meters, the new manufacturing facility will enable EagleBurgmann to meet increased demand for its mechanical seals, fabric expansion joints and supply systems, while making a contribution to Freudenberg’s goal of becoming a climate-neutral company by 2045 through energy-efficient manufacturing and green energy self-generation.

Our history
- 1978: Start-up of Burgmann do Brasil in Campinas City, São Paulo State
- 1981: Establishment of the sales office in São Paulo - SP
- 1991: Establishment of service center and sales in Jaboticabal - SP and Salvador - BA
- 1996: Burgmann do Brasil obtains its ISO 9001 certification from DQS
- 1999: Establishment of the sales office in Belo Horizonte
- 2000: BdB received the approval from KE-Burgmann to manufacture expansion joints in Brazil
- 2001: Establishment of the sales office in Porto Alegre
- 2004: Acquisition of the company by Freudenberg, and alliance with the company Eagle (Japan)
- 2004: EBdB also obtains a ISO 9001 certification for Project and Expansion Joints by DQS
- 2004: Establishment of the service center in Macaé-RJ
- 2005: EBdB received the certification ISO 9001 for the service centers by DQS
- 2006: Inauguration of the service center Porto Alegre
- 2006: RS certification ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999 by DQS
