Features
- Rotating multi-spring pusher seals
- Balanced
- Compact in length
- Uniform seal face loading
- Circlip design for ease of assembly
- Independent of direction of rotation
- Specially designed seal faces prevent dry running
Advantages
- Reduced operation cost on utilities like cooling water
- Can handle hot water up to 120 °C without cooler or jacket cooling
- Narrow cross-section allows the seal fitment in narrow stuffing boxes
Operating range
Shaft diameter: d = 25 … 100 mm (1" ... 3.94")
Pressure: p = vacuum to 20 bar (290 PSI)
Temperature: t = +120 °C (+248 °F)
Sliding velocity: vg = 23 m/s (75 ft/s)
Axial movement: ±0.5 mm
(Consult EB for applications outside above limits).
Materials
Seal ring: Carbon graphite antimony impregnated
Mating ring: Silicon carbide
Secondary seals: FKM, FFKM, EPR
Springs: Hastelloy® C-4
Metal parts: SS 316, other materials on request.
