Patents are an important element of our innovation management and therefore of our economic success. EagleBurgmann has a great number of registered patents that ensure quality and reliability for its customers and partners.
Knowledge management
Our knowledge management helps us keep our comprehensive knowledge up to date and make it available to the entire company. We use databases, courses and training to develop our employees and bundle our know-how from all around the world.
Customer projects
We offer individual solutions to our customers and provide capacities for projects in the area of development. We work closely together with the customer and EagleBurgmann-internal departments (Engineering, Production) to that end. Using the latest calculation and design methods we adapt our products to customer-specific requirements or develop completely new solutions.
Public research projects
EagleBurgmann regularly participates in publicly tendered research projects. For example, the technology DiamondFace was developed in context of a cooperation project. For more than a decade, the Fraunhofer Institute for Surface Engineering and Thin Films (IST), the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems (IKTS) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials (IWM) have been outstanding development partners for us.
Technical university projects
In addition to own projects, we also closely collaborate with technical universities to promote research and development in the area of sealing technology on the one hand; but also to win potential young talents for EagleBurgmann on the other.
