On-site service is a module of the TotalSealCarepackage; EagleBurgmann experts first determine the likely seal requirements in a direct dialog with the operator at place. They also identify “bad actors”, i.e. seals that the maintenance engineers have noticed as being prematurely worn, and which will be specifically replaced with an optimized solution, refurbished or repaired.

Every plant – whether it is a refinery, chemical plant, coal-fired or nuclear power station – has its own special features. For that reason our crew arrives with a specific stock of spare parts, spare kits, tools and HSE equipment as well to be able to assist from the earliest stage of disassembly up to the final assembly and commissioning.

EagleBurgmann made a significant contribution to ensuring that our maintenance and overhaul operations ran smoothly, even during the time-critical phases.

On-site service for power station maintenance and overhaul

Regular overhaul of large-scale technical facilities such as power stations ensures operational safety – and means a huge amount of work for technicians and maintenance engineers. Whole blocks are taken off-grid, and undergo a general overhaul within a fixed time window. The components that are inspected, and are sometimes replaced in a time-consuming process, include seals. Seals are found everywhere: in turbines and generators, in pumps, and in the wide-ranging pipe network with its wealth of valves. To err on the side of caution when providing the right sealing solution, many operators are now opting for an on-site service which allows them to order all the seals they need from a single source.

EagleBurgmann Hungaria Kft. is a 100 % owned subsidiary of EagleBurgmann, a German company offering mechanical seals for over 120 year and part of the German Freudenberg Group. EagleBurgmann Hungaria Kft's headquarters opened in Budapest on 1 January 2003. Thanks to the highly qualified professionals and precision German production, EagleBurgmann’s name is synonymous with reliable and top quality seal technology worldwide.

The EagleBurgmann group

The roots of EagleBurgmann reach back to 1884. The product portfolio is at first dominated by compression packings, static seals. Mechanical seals by EagleBurgmann are launched on the market as of 1962. In 1965 the portfolio is augmented by expansion joints.
