EagleBurgmann Germany is the competent contact for industrial sealing technology and associated services in Germany for more than 125 years. Approximately 250 employees in 12 regional service centers and sales branches guarantee customer-oriented and rapid services..
Our history
1884: Founding of the company in Dresden. Invention of machine-braided compression packing
1941: Founding of NOK (Japan Bearing Production Company)
1945 to 1962: Re-establishment of the company, relocation to Wolfratshausen. Development and manufacture of mechanical seals
1956 to 1978: NOK Corporation develops first universal mechanical seal. NOK founds Nippon Sealol Co. Ltd., Renamed to Eagle Industry Co., Ltd
1989 to 2006: Founding of the Niigata production location as Eagle Machine Works Co. Ltd., Distribution of Burgmann products in Japan. Transfer of Eagle Division Mechanical Seals General Market to EagleBurgmann Japan
1993: Acquisition of the KE Group, Denmark
2004: Burgmann becomes subgroup of Freudenberg
2006 to 2011: Worldwide rebranding of all companies to EagleBurgmann
2009 to 2011: KE-Burgmann acquires the American company EJS. Rebranding of KE-Burgmann to EagleBurgmann EJS
2011 to 2013: Founding of subsidiary Colombia; EagleBurgmann acquires the US company Sealpots
