High-pressure nitrogen bottle storage
Nitrogen flows back and forth between the nitrogen generator and the product vessel until the required purity level is achieved. It then flows into the nitrogen vessel.

Compressed air storage vessel
The compressed air storage vessel is supplied with air from the existing compressed air system. It serves as a reservoir for the nitrogen generator.
The pressure is kept constant in order to supply the nitrogen generator with the optimal pressure.
The pressure control valve decreases the pressure to the level required for the CobaDGS.
A pressure safety valve protects the downstream installation: it opens when the set point is exceeded, releasing nitrogen through the vent line over the roof of the container housing.
Pressure reduction and monitoring
The 3-stage piston compressor compresses the nitrogen up to 330 bar.
The nitrogen generator produces nitrogen at the required purity with the PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) process. Pressure cycling in both vessels allows for the oxygen to get bound to the active carbons and released to the atmosphere.
A Programmable Logic Controller controls the nitrogen generator as well as the compressor and all transmitters in the complete system. It can be operated both on site (via touch panel) and remotely.
