Compression packings / Gaskets
HT 9650/HT BuraTAL HT 9650/HT is based on braided end rings of expanded pure graphite with reinforced corners of carbon fiber yarn. In addition, the packing set consists of packing rings of expanded pure graphite, with very high density to maintain cross-sectional tightness under load. The adapter rings of very dense, expanded pure graphite are especially impregnated and have a friction reducing coating.
9591/P Statotherm P foil 9591/P gasket sheet material consits of flexible graphite (purity >99.85 % with low ash content). The soft and flexible material can compensate uneven surfaces. It is a basic gasket material without measurable cold- or warm flow. Therefore Statotherm P foil 9591/P is applicable for all branches of industry as the gasket material for valves and pumps, for emergency service and special applications.
Equates to SGL Sigraflex foil.
SCW 8032/SCW Burajet SCW 8032/SCW is a PTFE fiber injectable compound with excellent lubrication properties provided by PTFE-based additives. Depending on the application a special retention can be necessary. A special retention of two braided packing rings (e.g. Burasoft 6225/L or Buramex SF 6335) or two lipped rings (HPU-hydrolyse resistant polyurthane or FKM-fluorocarbon rubber) can be installed.
If needed the tape can be impregnated with a high-temperature resistant graphite compound.
Under the recommended surface pressures, no cold- or warm flow is measurable; graphite is not ageing and doesn't become brittle, due to the absence of binders; good resistance to chemicals;
Can be applied from lowest temperatures up to over 500 °C; soft, flexible; very good performance with temperature cycling; high stability under pressure.
Equates to SGL Sigraflex Hochdruck.
9593/HDPPro Statotherm HDPPro 9593/HDPPro is a reinforced, multi-layer gasket sheet made of 0.5 mm thick layers of high grade, impregnated graphite foils (purity >99.8 %) manufactured without adhesive with stainless steel foils. For better handling reduction of leakage the gasket is impregnated.
Equates to SGL Sigraflex Hochdruck Pro.

SSTC-TAL 9592/P Statotherm SSTC-TAL 9592/P is a high quality gasket sheet made of expanded graphite and a silicon free layer of expanded metal, without any binder or filler. The sealing material - expanded graphite (>99 % graduated density) with an acid-resistant expanded metal inlay of chromium nickel steel (1.4404) - forms a three dimensional structure when under load. This material is universally applicable in all sectors of industry and maintenance engineering.
Equates to Frenzelit Novaphit SSTC-TA-L.
Heat exchanger seal 2500 Buralloy Heat exchanger seal 2500 gaskets are manufactured using graphite, non-asbestos sheet and non-ceramic fiber as filler, which are then jacketed by various metals such as stainless steel, tin or copper. These gaskets are especially suitable for static sealing under high temperature, such as heat exchangers or pressure vessels.
Injection Device Hydraulic injection device for easy injection of fibre compound into stuffing box. The change to an injectable fibre system is easy and without great technical demands.
Excellent cross-sectional density and volumetric stability. Wear resistant and gentle to the spindle. Low friction coefficent and good distribution of gland forces.
Ring Type Joint 2961 Buralloy Ring Type Joints 2961 are manufactured according to ASME B16.20 standards and API specification 6A and 17B. Careful control of all manufacturing processes and sealing action through metal-to-metal contact ensure correct surface hardness to offer sealing without damaging flange connections. These metallic gaskets are also commonly used on extremely high pressure valves and pipe work assemblies, along with some high integrity pressure vessel joints. Buralloy Ring Type Joints 2961 are used in oil fields on drilling and completion equipment as well as in downstream refinery applications.
9614 The gasket cutter consists of a base plate to cut on, a short and a long bar with a sliding cutting tool. The sealing material is fixed by the central bolt. The tools to punch the central hole are easy to handle. After fixing the sealing material on the base plate and adjusting the cutting diameter on the bar, the gasket is cut by rotating the cutting tool.
corrugated gasket 2897 Corratherm corrugated gasket 2897 is a high-quality two-component gasket. Its core is made of a corrugated stainless steel profile ring with flexible Statotherm graphite foil on both sides. The gasket construction for an outside diameter up to 1,000 mm is made in one piece, larger dimensions have a welded profile ring.
HP 6365/HP A classic seal made of rubber with woven mesh. Temperature-, corrosion- and chemical resistant high duty mesh with elastomer coating. This material is especially designed to meet the high requirements of "TRD 401 -Test class D".
6236/AK Thermoflon Spezial 6236/AK is a exclusively diagonal braided packing, made of PTFE/graphite-yarn with lubricant and reinforced corners with a very wear-resistant PTFE-fiber. This packing is braided in the special AK-profile. Therefore Thermoflon Spezial 6236/AK is a special packing for the pulp and paper industry!
corrugated gasket 2897/T Corrachem 2897/T is a high-grade three component seal out of flexible graphite, stainless steel and PTFE. The core of this gasket is a corrugated stainless steel profile ring, on both sides layers of expanded Statotherm graphite, with a PTFE-layer on both sides.
Packing cartridges are manufactured to invidual requirements but are regularly supplied to fit into DIN/ASME standard equipment e.g. agitators. The cartridge unit can be supplied with Live-loading and additional bellows containment as requierd for maximum environmental safety.
Guarantees the correct length of packing to suit the shaft diameter. (special extension scale up to 250mm shaft diameter available).
No waste due to badly cut packings (too long or too short); quick and easy handling; ensures clean ends cut to the precise angle required.
9107/KN KN Rubber-Steel gasket 9107/KN consists of a replaceable EPDM-sealing lip, mounted on metal supporting ring which performs both a centering and a load-restricting function. It absorbs the tightening forces necessary for high pressures while protecting the rubber seal from excessive compression. This gasket guarantees a uniform distribution of stresses by special sealing lip geometry combined with highest quality elastomers.
No waste due to badly cut packing (too long or too short);
quick and easy handling; provides clean , precise angled, cut ends.
