Features
High quality, high strength packing for all industry branches, especially chemical and petrochemical industry, wastewater, paper and pulp.
Araflon is highly resistant to abrasive media and fibre break-down giving a clean and long service life.
It is extremely stable and hard-wearing.
Advantages
Diagonally braided packing of high quality smooth synthetic, partly pre-impregnated endless aramid fibres (Kevlar) with multiple PTFE impregnation and lubricant.

Notes
Due to the high stability of aramid fibres we recommend shaft sleeves (with surface hardness of 40-60HRc) to avoid wear of sliding surface of shaft.
In hot-water, the packing can be used uncooled up to 160 °C.
