Our concept includes the implementation of the choice of modules into your plant together with clear definition of responsibilities. We believe that this is essential for the common success of the concept.


Consulting, Engineering

covers the survey of seals already installed and in use at the plant. Based on the actual situation as determined via this analysis, a standardization proposal is then drawn up with the aim of minimizing the number of different seal types, sizes and materials used while taking account of and meeting prevailing plant standards and technical regulations. The proposal also incorporates suggestions for appropriate technical improvements and conversion concepts, and positions classified as critical to the plant's operation are given the appropriate close attention.


Maintenance

covers the repair, commissioning, maintenance and conversion of seals and supply systems - around the clock and 7 days a week - by qualified fitters and engineers on site or at appropriately equipped service centers near the user's facility. Specially conceived software programs enable our staff to capture and document the data relevant to a seal's correct functioning. Besides operating data, this also involves logging sources of malfunctions, the measures taken to rectify them, as well as the associated costs. This enables the continuous assessment of a seal's useful life and the relevant maintenance costs.


Mobile seal service on site

A specially equipped service container is used directly on the customer's production site for major servicing projects in the chemical industry, refineries and power stations. We provide first hand not only flexible and expert advice but also the entire EagleBurgmann range of products. Take PSS for example: We come with a basic stock of stuffing box packings and static seals or coordinate the container's contents with the customer in advance. The customer decides which products are used, thus simplifying his own stock-keeping. Our service personnel are also able to adapt sealing sets to the customer's valves and fittings and to produce gaskets from board materials. Other services include the procurement of special gaskets and the organization of TA Luft (German Clean Air Directive) retrofits and standardization measures.


Stock Management

enables customers to be provided with an optimized and cost-effective inventory management set-up on or in the immediate vicinity of their premises, for example at a Burgmann Service Center, and aligned to their specific requirements in terms of complete seal units and spare parts and in accordance with the relevant quality regulations.
